Shooting in Red Springs, North Carolina Leaves One Dead

A shooting in Red Springs North Carolina yesterday has left one dead. Law enforcement received a call around 6:45 PM for a shooting in the area of Hubert McLean Avenue and McManus Street. Red Springs Police Chief Ronnie Patterson did not give many details regarding the incident other than to say one person, a woman, was dead. An unconfirmed source close to the investigation reported a teenager may have been taken into custody. More information is set to be released later today as the investigation continues.
