No Serious Injuries Reported Following Hostage Situation in Dillon County Residence

The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has reported yesterday’s hostage situation is now over. They were initially alerted to the incident on Joann Branch Road yesterday afternoon. The Dillon County Sheriff’s Captain Cliff Arnette was not able to provide many details regarding the incident, including the motive and how many hostages were inside the home at the time. He did confirm there were no serious injuries and the assailant, a male, is now in custody.
