Horry County Meeting Tonight to Discuss Becoming Second Amendment Sanctuary

Horry county leaders will be meeting tonight to discuss South Carolina becoming a second amendment sanctuary. The meeting will take place at the Horry County Government and Justice Center at 6 P.M. The ordinance would protect people’s right to bear arms through several means including legal action and appropriating public funds among other things. But it still needs to pass three council votes before it becomes official. Currently, only one South Carolina county has adopted the ordinance with several others discussing it. The ordinance would have no governing power, but some say it sends the message of support for the second amendment right here in the palmetto state.
