Plane Crash in Louisiana Kills Five

Shortly after takeoff, a plane crashed in Louisiana and took the lives of five people. Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the crash. No distress call had been sent out and the flight data recorder was reportedly lacking. On top of that, the wreckage of the plane was so bad it has made it difficult for officials to obtain information quickly. The investigation into the cause of the incident could take anywhere from twelve to eighteen months. Of the six people on board, five were killed with one in critical condition. Another person was injured after her vehicle flipped and caught fire as a result of the crash. She currently suffers from severe burns. This was just one of four plane crashes this weekend which in total have left six dead and eight injured.
