Body Found in Lamar Identified

The body that was found in a field in Lamar on Christmas morning has been identified. A Darlington County coroner named the deceased as 21-year-old Zyshonne McCullough of Bishopville. McCullough’s body was discovered in a field near the intersection of Bay Branch Road and Plaza Road. He is believed to be a victim of a homicide that most likely took place Christmas Eve. No official cause of death has been released. Darlington County Sheriff’s deputies and SLED are still investigating.
