Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton Provides Thanksgiving Meal To Charlotte Kids

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than 1,200 local children won’t go hungry this Thanksgiving thanks to Cam Newton.  The Panthers’ quarterback hosted the 8th Annual ‘Cam’s Thanksgiving Jam’ at Topgolf in southwest Charlotte Tuesday evening.

Cam and his family served up turkey and all the fixings.  He says the best part was being back with his fans after being away from them while he’s recovering from his foot injury.

“It’s been a trying year for me in multiple ways than one, but at the end of the day being around this type of atmosphere helps you and it would help anyone.” -Cam Newton

Harris Teeter and JP Morgan Chase teamed up with Cam for the event.  All the guests got a second meal to take home with them.
