Fight over Flynn
President Trump's former national security adviser is working with investigators looking into Russian collusion.
xb,The charges and guilty plea from former national security adviser Michael Flynn could put Democrats on the path to take action against President Trump. On Friday, Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI about conversations with a Russian diplomat. Then on Saturday, the President tweeted about how the lying is what forced him to fire Flynn, back in February, appearing to confirm the white house knew about Flynn’s behavior. It was around the same time that the President reportedly asked former FBI director James Comey to abandon a probe into Flynn. Senator Dianne Feinstein says there’s more evidence in the indictments of the President’s former campaign manager and an adviser. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is urging his colleagues to see what comes out of Flynn’s cooperation with investigators. Tthe President insisted he never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn.
