March 23rd, 1944 to June 25th, 2011 MYRTLE BEACH: Margaret Godfrey Miller, 67, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at MUSC, Charleston, after an illness. Mrs. Miller was born on March 23, 1944, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Ernest A. Godfrey, Jr. and Patricia Ivey Massey Godfrey. She was employed with Wal-Mart for over 20 years and was of the Southern Baptist faith. Mrs. Miller was a very loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed. Surviving are her four sons, William E. Miller, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, Jeffrey L. Miller and his wife, Tonya of Coward, Brian K. Miller of Myrtle Beach and John C. Miller of Socastee; her grandchildren, Brandon W. Miller of Georgetown, Madison V. Nelson and Caleb Z. Miller, both of Coward, and John Westley Miller of Myrtle Beach; sister, Patricia Yarborough and her husband David “Tank” of Ocean Isle, NC, and sister-in-law, Lenora Godfrey of Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Godfrey.
