Griswold, Ilene

Ilene Griswold, age 86, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on December 26, 1924 to the late Walter and Adam Capps Pittman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Griswold, her son, Dick Griswold and her brothers, Lloyd Pittman, Elmer Pittman and Hilton Pittman. Mrs. Griswold is survived by her sister, Ava Gray Britt of Lumberton and several nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at a later date.
