Threewitts, Marilyn

Marilyn Harmon Threewitts, age 74, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, June 6, 2011 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Lexington County, SC on December 27, 1936 to the late Lloyd C. and Juanita Rawl Harmon. She previously worked as a pre-school teacher. She was also active in women ELCA (statewide), member of civic clubs, garden clubs, book clubs and several bridge clubs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Juanita Harmon and a brother, Larry Harmon. Mrs. Threewitts is survived by her husband, A.J. “Al” Threewitts and two sons, David Threewitts of Durham, NC and John “Jay” Threewitts of Raleigh, NC. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark‘s Lutheran Church in Lumberton with Rev. Jean Horman officiating. Burial will be on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Littleton, NC. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
