Johnson, Gladys

Mrs. Gladys Morgan Johnson, age 94, of Rockingham, NC, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Rockingham Manor in Rockingham. She was born in Robeson County of December 18, 1916 to the late Ork Morgan and Charity Taylor Morgan. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son, James Smith of Titusville, FL; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, at 10:00AM, at the funeral home.
