Lane, Deborah

Deborah J. Lane, 51, of Cameron, NC passed Monday May 16, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Lane was born February 28, 1960 in Sanford, NC to Claude and Ruby “Ross” Frye. A graveside service will be held 1PM Thursday May 19th 2011 at the Pineywood Baptist Church Cemetery in Cameron with the Rev. Don Edwards officiating. Deborah has been granted her angel wings. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she touched in some small way throughout her quick, yet very memorable life. Deborah‘s life would seem too short for many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, giving nature, and willingness to put others first brought so much joy to friends and family. She gave such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She loved to decorate, create and was her happiest when helping others. She will be missed. She is survived by her husband of twenty seven years, Rodney Lynn Lane. Parents, Claude and Ruby Frye of Cameron. Two brothers, Ronnie Frye and wife Carolyn and James Frye all of Cameron. A visitation will be held 6 to8PM Wednesday May 18th 2011 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
