Pait, Clara

Clara Biggs Pait, age 95, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on February 21, 1916 to the late Luther M. Biggs and the late Betty Biggs. She was a member and teacher at First Baptist Church in Lumberton for over fifty years. Mrs. Pait is survived by two sons, Ron Pait and wife, Maggie of Lumberton, NC and Andy Pait and wife, Patricia of Shallote, NC; one daughter, Shirley P. Johnson of Lumberton; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John S. Pait, Sr. and her son, Mr. John S. Pait, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Joe Bounds and Rev. Tim Little officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
