The recall covers 500-milligram acetaminophen caplets that were sold in 200, 500 and 1,000-count bottles.

A recall has been placed on over 112,000 bottles of medication sold on Amazon.

The Amazon brand of Extra Strength Acetaminophen are being recalled after reports of discolored tablets being found in consumers’ bottles.

The recall covers 500-milligram acetaminophen caplets that were sold in 200, 500 and 1,000-count bottles. The affected lots range in expiration dates.

The FDA has not yet assigned a risk classification and no health effects or injuries have been reported. If you have an affected bottle, stop using the product and contact Amazon for guidance and a remedy.
