Sleeping Next to Your Dog Not Likely to Disturb Your Sleep
But, it says you could be disturbing your pet's.
A new study shows sleeping with your dog might not disturb your sleep. But, it says you could be disturbing your pet’s.
Toronto-based researchers say they used wrist and collar monitors on 38 pairs of people and dogs. They say human activity preceded canine activity about 45 percent of the time but the reverse was only true about 18 percent of the time. In other words…if the person moved in their sleep, the dog would move shortly afterward. The study says some people with multiple dogs reported sleep disruptions. But, their monitors didn’t confirm that.
