President Trump Clarifies Comments Regarding Two California Cities

The comments come after Trump faced rapid backlash after he said that if Iran were to hit San Diego or Los Angeles it would be a "small price to pay."

President Trump announced that the U.S. is doing “extremely well” against Iran. He declared that the country’s military is “shot” and suggested a decision is coming soon on how to bring the conflict to an end.

Also, during a rally in Texas Wednesday, Trump emphasized the need to defend American cities against potential Iran aggression. He warned of catastrophic consequences if Tehran were to obtain a nuclear weapon.

“You want to see problems, and I said it the other day, let them hit a missile into San Diego or Los Angeles on the way. Let them hit, you want to see a horror show?” Trump said. He went on to say that they aren’t going to let that happen and will protect our cities and our country.
