Sara Graham’s step mother has pleaded guilty to her killing.
Sara went missing in 2015 at the age of 18 out of Robeson County. There have been several findings in the investigation over the years, including her vehicle discovered in a field, but her body was never located and many questions remain unanswered. A judge declared her legally dead earlier this year.
Also this year, her step mom Connie Graham, and step brothers, Bobby McLellan and Luke Locklear were arrested in connection to her death. Connie was initially charged with first-degree murder, felony conspiracy, and more. She was indicted in early august.
Connie has now pleaded guilty in a plea agreement to second-degree murder. She was sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison. The fate of her step brothers is unclear at this time. The investigation into Sara’s case remains active.
