Trump’s Meeting With AI Leaders Results In Signing Of Pact

The AI summit resulted in two primary outcomes including the signing of a voluntary "morally binding" safety accord by six major tech titans.

President Trump met with AI leaders at the White House earlier this week.

The AI summit resulted in two primary outcomes including the signing of a voluntary “morally binding” safety accord by six major tech titans, and an executive order by Trump officially rebranding artificial intelligence as “Super Intelligence.”

The Signatories Pact was signed by Trump, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Dario Amodei, and more. It establishes framework for companies to implement internal safeguards, detect and patch software vulnerabilities, and monitor capabilities during training.

However, the document doesn’t carry legal weight or enforcement mechanisms. Trump described the it as “almost like a constitution” that functions on the “morally binding” basis.

In addition, Trump is considering forming a 10-person safety committee to watch over the broader AI industry.
