Think about your typical day: when do you first drop profanity? According to one report, the average American utters their first curse word of the day at 10:54 a.m. and about 25% don’t usually make it to 9:00 a.m.

The study was focused on everyday stress and frustration and one of the biggest causes is “financial worry,” along with “not getting enough sleep…health concerns…and work.” Stress is an inescapable part of life and everyone deals with it in some way. In fact, the average American experiences 1,205 stressful events every year. Which is about 100 per month, or more than three per day and cursing is one way people express their frustration.
