Crash Involving A Motorcycle Claims The Lives Of Two People

67-year-old Richard Lewis was the driver of the bike and 74-year-old Linda Lewis was the passenger, neither survived their injuries.

A motorcycle crash in Horry County resulted in the deaths of two people.

The crash happened Saturday night at the intersection of SC 410 and SC 19. A 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was attempting to cross 410 while traveling north on 19 when it was struck by a Nissan SUV traveling east on 410.

The driver of the SUV was injured and hospitalized while three passengers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

67-year-old Richard Lewis was the driver of the bike. He was taken to a hospital where he died that night. 74-year-old Linda Lewis was the passenger who also died just hours after the crash, which is still under investigation.
