United Way of Horry County Expands ‘Ready, Set Kindergarten!’ Program

Ready, Set, Kindergarten! is a free, on-campus experience from United Way of Horry County that lets your rising kindergartner walk a real classroom, meet a teacher, and get comfortable with what their first day will look and feel like, all before the school year begins.

The program, presented by HTC, is open to all children entering kindergarten in Fall 2027.
