CCU Volleyball Takes On First Team IMPACT Signee for CCU athletics

14-year-old Claire Duncan joins the Chants as the first Team IMPACT organization signee in any Coastal athletics program.

Coastal Carolina University’s volleyball team has added a new member to the program.

14-year-old Claire Duncan signed to join the Coastal indoor volleyball team. She is the first Team IMPACT organization signee in any Coastal athletics program.

The foundation sets up multi-year programs to connect patients or people with disabilities to the college programs of their choice.

Duncan will now be able to join the team for matches, practices, and team events while also fighting leukemia.

Duncan said she felt welcomed by the team and head coach and has a positive outlook on the Chants as the season gets underway.
