House Of Hope Partners With Florence 1 Schools For Tiny Homes Project
The houses will be designed to provide stable housing for students of Florence 1 Schools and their families experiencing homelessness.
House of Hope broke ground Tuesday on a new housing development.
The Hope Village is a planned community of 10 tiny homes. They will be designed to provide stable housing for students of Florence 1 Schools and their families experiencing homelessness.
The first phase is focused on giving kids and their caregivers a safe place to live, which can have a direct impact on a child’s success in the classroom. It was said that the 10 homes are just a starting point.
The project marks the first partnership of its kind between Florence 1 Schools and House of Hope in the area. Hope Village is located along Douglas Street and is expected to open for families by the start of next school year.
To fill out an application, families should contact the House of Hope of the Pee Dee directly.
