Couples Who Do This Together have Healthier Relationships
Walking was among the most commonly reported shared activities.
Married couples who exercise, whether together or alone, have stronger, healthier relationships.
A study found that partners who exercise, reported better communication, better conflict resolution, and less marital conflict than couples who are sedentary. Couples who worked out together though, showed somewhat larger associations to those positive outcomes than couples who exercise separately, but it wasn’t too significant.
Walking was among the most commonly reported shared activities, requiring no gym, no equipment, and no special schedule.
