International Overdose Awareness Day Event Coming to Chapin Park

The Opioid Response Team will host the event on Monday August 31, 2026 at Chapin Park in Myrtle Beach – 5:30 to 7:30pm. Featuring guest speakers, Narcan training and a lot more.

August 31st is the largest annual campaign to end overdose, remembering without stigma those who have died, and acknowledge the grief of family and friends that have been left behind.
