The 33-year-old has been indicted on two counts of murder with the special circumstance allegations of multiple murders and murder by means of lying in wait. Nick has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Nick was arrested on Dec. 14 after his father, acclaimed Hollywood director, and mother, were found dead in their California home. Nick is accused of fatally stabbing the 78 and 70-year-old. The latest indictment adds to the previous murder charges that prosecutors filed formally on Dec.16.
In addition, in June, Nick filed a petition for access to his trust fund, alleging he has been denied any of the money that he was entitled to receive when he turned 30. He said he’s unable to pay for his legal counsel or basic necessities while incarcerated without it.
The next court date for the trust fund case is set for later this month. He has another court date for the murder case in September.
