Are You Your Family’s ‘Dining Manager’?

The dining manager spends about two hours...every day...on meal-related tasks.

If you’re a parent of teenagers, one of the best things you can do to save time is: getting your kids involved with the meals operation.

According to a report, 82% of families have a default “dining manager,” who handles meal planning, shopping, and cooking. It’s a massive job that doesn’t get the full appreciation it deserves, even if you’re thanked at the table.

The dining manager spends about two hours…every day…on meal-related tasks. That includes deciding what to make, creating a grocery list, preparing the meal and more. Of course, the dining manager can delegate…but 69% of dining managers believe it’s usually easier to handle meal planning and preparation themselves, than to pass it off to someone else.
