Toyota Recalls Over Half-A-Million Vehicles Over Software Issue

The software issue could cause the signal lamps, hazard lamp function and certain warning buzzers to become inoperable, posing the risk of a crash.

Toyota has placed a recall on over half-a-million vehicles.

The recall covers over 508,000 vehicles including 508,354 2025-2026 Toyota Camry Hybrids produced between Aug. 15, 2024 and June 9, 2026.

The recall was placed due to an error that may occur in the startup sequence for the combination meter, causing the feature to go blank.

The software issue could cause the signal lamps, hazard lamp function and certain warning buzzers to become inoperable, posing the risk of a crash.

Owners can take their vehicle to a Toyota dealership where the software will be updated.
