Carpenter, Faye

Faye Carpenter, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 20th, surrounded by family and friends. Faye was born in Rockingham, NC to Viola and Lee Carpenter and moved to Moore County in 2007. Faye held many hands and soothed many hearts as a caregiver both by nature and profession, and her daughter was honored to have returned those blessings to her. Faye is survived by her best friend and daughter, Jamie Lynn Perkins as well as her brother, Jay Travis Perkins and his daughter, Olivia McGrady Perkins. Faye is also survived by her brother, Boyce Lee Carpenter, Jr. of Hamlet, NC. A Celebration of Life for Faye will be held at Community Presbyterian Church in Pinehurst on Saturday, February 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and all are invited to a catered lunch following the service at the family‘s home in Moore County.
