A leader in the steel fabrication industry is expanding its operations in Florence County.
SteelFab Inc.’s new facility will be located at 500 Freedom Boulevard in Florence. It will produce fabricated steel parts for U.S. naval defense purposes. The $38.92 million investment will create 108 new jobs.
SteelFab opened its first South Carolina fabrication plant in 1988. It currently has 35 locations across the U.S., including office and manufacturing facilities in Charleston and Rock Hill, S.C.. Operations for the Florence County facility are expected to be online by September of next year.
