Conway IGA Location To Close

The Conway IGA location is set to close.

The grocery store has been a long-standing staple in the community since the 1960s. The decision to shut down was explained as a “difficult business decision.” Employees of the location will be offered positions at other KJ’s Market or IGA stores.

The store is currently hosting a closing sale, with select departments marked at 33% off and others at 25% off. The location will officially close in early September.

A Food Lion is located nearly a mile up the road along Main Street for residents seeking other grocery options. There is also a Walmart around two miles away on Church Street.

This IGA closure announcement comes after the same announcement was made regarding the IGA location in Latta.
