For more information visit UnitedWayHorry.org/Thrive.
For United Way in Action, Community Resource Coordinator Kissie Melvin and CEO Blakley Roof of the United Way of Horry County were in the studio to talk about the THRIVE Program.
The THRIVE team supports ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) by connecting them to essential resources and services. The focus is helping hardworking individuals and families overcome financial challenges, access community programs, and achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency.
Bi-monthly THRIVE classes are offered on various subjects to connect with new clients.
