Frost, Daisy Moses

Mrs. Daisy Moses Frost, the daughter of James Moses and Maggie James Moses, was born on August 20, 1923 in Florence, South Carolina. On Thursday, February 10, 2011, she entered into eternal rest to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Daisy migrated to New York to pursue a better life and career. She was employed with the New York Department of Social Services as a Home Health Care Provider, serving in this position until she retired. She was joined in holy matrimony to William Frost and they were blessed with two daughters. They became members of Jamaica Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Jamaica, NY in 1965. She served faithfully as head Deaconess for over 20 years. In 1987, she returned to Florence, SC and became a member of Oakland Avenue Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She was also a faithful member of the Deaconess Federation of South Carolina. Due to her severe illness and the desire for a second opinion on health issues, Daisy returned to New York in 2009. Throughout all her pain and suffering, whenever asked how she was doing, she replied, “I‘m doing pretty good.” She was predeceased by her parents; husband, William; daughter, Elsie Carroll; sister, Maggie Emanuel; brothers-in-law, Herbert Frost, Thomas Frost, Sr. and Lawrence Emanuel.
