Unrest in Charlotte

A police officer in Charlotte has been placed on administrative leave after killing a black man.

Protestors hit the streets of Charlotte last night with demonstrators  blocking the freeway and about a dozen officers getting hurt. Police say they were serving a warrant when they saw an armed man get in and out of his car, then shot and killed him. Family members of 43-year old Keith Lament Scott say he was only waiting in his car when officers opened fire- the warrant was not out for Scott. The unrest comes on the heels of another black man killed by police in Tulsa over the weekend.
