The mystery of a nearly thirty-year old cold-case haunted the state of Minnesota has been resolved. As part of a courtroom plea deal, a man who previously denied any involvement in the case admitted -in graphic detail- to  abducting and killing eleven-year old  Jacob Wetterling in October of 1989. Last week, the same suspect led authorities to Wetterling’s remains, and will not be charged in Wetterling’s murder. Following the boy’s disappearance, Jacob’s Law, passed in 1994, required states to establish sex offender registries.
