Alex Murdaugh Retrial Process To Kick Off Late June

The disgraced South Carolina lawyer was convicted of murdering his wife and son back in 2023. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

The disgraced South Carolina lawyer was convicted of murdering his wife and son back in 2023. He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.

However, the South Carolina Supreme Court decided to overturn the conviction. That came due to jury interference conducted by County Clerk Becky Hill.

A hearing is scheduled to take place at 10am on June 29 before Judge Deborah McCaslin, who is assigned full jurisdiction to oversee proceedings in the case.
