Petco Love Pick Me! SC is back, now through June 21st, bringing together more than 90 animal shelters, rescue organizations, and Petco stores from every region of the Palmetto State, including the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.
Since its launch, the event has helped more than 15,000 pets find families, transforming lives while strengthening communities across South Carolina. The effort is powered by Petco Love and organized through Charleston Animal Society’s No Kill South Carolina initiative, a groundbreaking collaboration that helped South Carolina become the first No Kill State across the southern US.
“We’re proud to once again participate in PickMe!SC as part of our ongoing commitment to help more pets find loving homes across our community,” said Meaghan Pitman, Marketing Manager for the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. “This event gives us a meaningful and fun opportunity to shine a spotlight on the animals in our care and connect them with the families they deserve.”
Throughout the ten-day event, participating organizations from the Lowcountry to the Upstate will offer free and low-fee adoptions, making it easier than ever for families to welcome a new companion into their homes.
