Man Arrested For Allegedly Beating Woman With Fishing Poles

35-year-old Brandon Stanley has been charged with first-degree domestic violence, violation of probation, and contempt of family court by adult offense.
The incident unfolded on Saturday at a residence on Woodridge Circle in the Little River area. The victim was found in the neighbor’s yard with injuries to her face, head, hands, and legs from being struck by fishing poles. The victim also reported that stanley threatened her with a machete, which was found in the home.
Stanley is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $60,000 bond.
