Man Accused Of Sexual Offenses Against Minor Captured In Georgetown Co.

Jeremy Locklear was wanted out of North Carolina on several felony charges.

A North Carolina man was captured in Georgetown County. Jeremy Locklear was wanted out of North Carolina on several felony charges.

Robeson County authorities notified the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Department that Locklear may be in the area. Deputies were able to locate his vehicle and take him into custody as he was leaving a local hotel.

Locklear has been charged with first-degree statutory sex offense, indecent liberties with a minor and more. He is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center and will be extradited back to Robeson County.
