Meetings To Be Held For Comments On Proposed Highway 22 Extension

A meeting will be held March 2 at the James Frazier Community Center in the Bucksport area.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is set to host public meetings regarding the proposed Highway 22 extension in Horry County.

The meetings will be held to inform the community of the project’s Preliminary Alternatives. Proposed screening criteria is being prepared as part of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed extension.

A pre-recorded presentation will be available online February 23. A meeting will be held March 2 at the James Frazier Community Center in the Bucksport area. Another meeting will be held March 3 at the South Strand Recreation Center, and another March 4 at the Horry County Government and Justice Center in Conway.
