Two Separate Shootings In Florence Co. Leave One Dead, Juvenile Injured

Two separate shootings unfolded in Florence County Monday.

The first shooting happened along Coit Street and resulted in the death of one person. A suspect fled the scene in what was believed to be a silver Honda Accord.

Shortly after that, another shooting happened in the area of N. Dargan Street. A juvenile was injured and taken to a hospital to be treated but, they’re reportedly in stable condition. A vehicle was seen fleeing the scene of that shooting.

The suspected vehicle was later stopped by officials in Darlington. Multiple people were apprehended. Both shootings are now actively under investigation but police are not sure if the two are connected.
