Being in Shape Might Make You Calmer
A new study found being in shape makes you less likely to lose your cool.
Here’s a new reason to hit the gym: a new study found being in shape makes you less likely to lose your cool.
Researchers in Brazil did stress tests on people to see how quickly they’d get angry or upset and how fit they were made a big difference. People in good shape were calmer in general and around eight times less likely to flip their lid or get upset. The study found that physically fit people tend to control their emotions better. They also recover from stressful things faster than people who are out of shape. They say it’s just more evidence that exercise is good for your physical and mental health.
