SCSU Shooting Claims The Lives Of Two People, One Injured

The incident comes after S.C. State issued a lockdown back in October.

A shooting at South Carolina State University resulted in the death of two people.

The shooting unfolded around 9:15pm Thursday. Shots were fired in an apartment at the Hugine Suites student residential complex.

The identities of the deceased victims have not been publicly released at this time nor has the identity of an injured victim whose current condition is unknown.

The campus was put on a lockdown that was lifted earlier Friday morning. Classes have been canceled and counselors are available for students.
