Burning Candle Believed To Spark Apartment Fire In Florence Co.

Fire crews responded to the flames at 1205 June Lane, Apartment B.

A fire broke out at a Florence County apartment complex early Friday morning.

Around 2:30am, fire crews responded to the flames at 1205 June Lane, Apartment B. Upon arrival, the fire was active on the second floor of the residence. But, the inferno was under control within 10 minutes.

All occupants of the building and neighboring apartments were accounted for and no injuries were reported. However, the occupant of the affected apartment was taken to a hospital to be evaluated.

Four apartments were damaged. A burning candle is believed to have sparked the fire.
