Man Arrested Following Chase That Ended In A Crash

The chase ended on Seneca Street in Lumberton after the suspected vehicle crashed into a building.

One man has been arrested following a pursuit in Robeson County.

The chase unfolded Thursday and ended on Seneca Street in Lumberton after the suspected vehicle crashed into a building.

23-year-old Taysean Mercer was taken into custody and charged with felony flee to elude, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by felon, felony hit and run causing injury and many more.

Mercer is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center on a $535,000 bond.
