Robeson Co. Shooting Claims Life Of Two People, Leaving One Hurt

30-year-old Jeremiah Moore and 37-year-old Carlos Carmona each died after suffering from gunshot wounds.

A Robeson County shooting claimed the life of two people, leaving another hospitalized.

The incident unfolded around 11pm Monday in the 2000 block of Highway 711 West. Upon arrival, officers found 30-year-old Jeremiah Moore and 37-year-old Carlos Carmona each suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both taken to a hospital where they later died.

35-year-old Mike Carmona was also found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a medical center where he is expected to recover. He is also expected to face felony charges after being released from the hospital.

45-year-old Jerry Scott was also present during the shooting. He was later found walking in the area and was detained and charged with felony conspiracy and felony larceny. An investigation remains underway.
