Two Charged After Woman Found Shot Inside Burning Vehicle

The deceased individual was identified as 40-year-old Dana Kinlaw.

An investigation is underway after a body was found in Florence County.

Thursday night, police responded to Atlantic Road near Springbranch Road in Effingham where a person was found shot inside a burning vehicle. The deceased individual was identified as 40-year-old Dana Kinlaw. Her death was ruled a homicide.

19-year-old Iryanna Fleming and 31-year-old Daquinn Thomas have both been arrested in connection to the incident. They are accused of shooting Kinlaw before setting the vehicle ablaze with her body inside.

Both suspects were charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. They were booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
