Florence Co. Officials Need Help Locating Man Wanted For Murders

Florence County officials are asking for the public’s help locating a wanted man.

26-year-old Kadeem McFadden of Lake City has been linked to two separate murder cases. He has been charged in the Christmas Eve murder of Kobe Godfrey. He allegedly shot Godfrey several times on Bozy Road in Scranton.

McFadden is also a wanted suspect in the death of Calvin Sowels, who was shot and killed in August near a convenience store in Timmonsville.

McFadden is around six-feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

McFadden has previously been arrested on several non-related charges to the murders. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Florence County authorities.
