Chocolate Bar Recall Expands Due To Salmonella Contamination
The recall was placed due to the possibility of salmonella contamination that was flagged during routine testing.
A nationwide recall of chocolate has expanded.
Initially, the recall only included Spring and Mulberry’s Mint Leaf bars, but it now affects eight other flavors. That includes Earl Grey, Lavender Rose, Mango Chili, Mixed Berry, Mulberry Fennel, Pecan Date, and Pure Dark Minis.
The recall was placed due to the possibility of salmonella contamination that was flagged during routine testing. The chocolate bars were distributed nationwide and have been available to purchase in stores and online since September 15.
No illnesses have been confirmed in connection to the recall at this time. However, consumers are urged to throw the product away and contact the company for a refund.
