Fourth Arrest Made In Connection To Death Of 21-Year-Old Man

Shane Cox's warrants accuse him of shooting Martin "numerous times with gross disregard for human life."

A fourth arrest has been made in connection to death of a 21-year-old man in Darlington County.

On Nov. 10, Chandler Martin was shot and killed in the area of Piano Road and South Charleston Road.

Previously, authorities arrested Patrell and Stargeria Jackson as well as an unnamed juvenile in relation to the case.

On Thursday, police arrested Shane Cox and charged him with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and criminal conspiracy.

Warrants allege that the suspects plotted to rob Martin before shooting and killing him.

Cox’s warrants accuse him of shooting Martin “numerous times with gross disregard for human life.” He is being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center and has been denied bond on all charges.
